New Pocket integration

Great news for Pocket users! You no longer have to switch between services to access your saved articles. With our new Pocket integration, you can connect your accounts and transfer your content directly into Inoreader, consolidating your read-later lists in one place. Read on for a step-by-step guide on how to do it!

Connecting your Pocket account

Setting up the integration is quick and easy:

  1. Go to Preferences in your tab bar, then select Share, save, login.
  2. Find Pocket in the external services list and click the Connect button.
  3. A new window will prompt you to log into your Pocket account and authorize the integration.
  4. After entering your login credentials, click the Authorize button to finalize the process. Once authorized, your accounts will be successfully linked!

To manage your integration, go to Preferences > Share, save, login > Pocket, and click Edit. There, you can check your username and integration status, reconnect or disconnect your accounts if needed.

Importing articles and tags

Once connected, you can transfer your saved articles and tags from Pocket to Inoreader in a single action. Click Import from Pocket to transfer up to 1,000 of your most recent saved articles and choose whether to add them to your Read later list in Inoreader. Imported articles will be assigned the tag Pocket import for easy identification. The process may take some time, but don’t worry – you’ll receive a notification once it’s complete!

This new integration is designed to help you smoothly transition to centralizing all your saved content in one place. Try it out today, and enjoy a more streamlined reading experience in Inoreader!
